MCP

Connect Draw to an MCP-compatible assistant to create diagrams, read them, and edit them together. The server uses remote HTTP.

Claude (web or desktop)

Open Customize → Connectors, select + → Add custom connector, name it Draw, and paste the server URL. Enable the connector in your conversation.

ChatGPT

In Settings → Security and login, enable Developer mode. Open Plugins, select +, and add a connection named Draw using the server URL. Add it to a new chat from the tools menu. Availability depends on your plan and workspace.

VS Code / GitHub Copilot

Add this to .vscode/mcp.json, start the server, and select Agent mode in Copilot Chat:

Try asking: “Draw a client → API → database diagram and give me the link.” For a visual layout check, ask the model to use get_drawing_preview. To edit an existing drawing, its owner can copy the private token under Share → Copy edit token.
